2009 April Rewind
2009 April Rewind

So I’m thinking of starting a new little tradition here on the site.  Once a month I’ll feature my 10 favorite images from a same month 1 year ago.  (Wow, I feel like I made that sentence much more confusing than it needed to be.)

I think it’s important for brides to see a “history” of work.  Anyone with a decent camera can shoot a good image every now and then. However, shooting a wedding week in and week out is what really helps me “know” what’s going to happen next on your day.  So, this is a way of showing you that I’ve been shooting for a little while, and it’s also a way for my past brides to flaunt their stuff on my blog again. :)

Anyway, here they are, in no particular order, my favorite images from April 2009.

wedding photography tyler tx Well, it’s that time of year again. Just like last year, you guys will get to vote on the best images of the year. The winners in each category will receive a large 16×20 print of their winning image! You can vote once a day so come back each day and make sure you tell your friends to come vote if you ant to win.

From December 28 – December 31 I’ll be posting my favorite 10 images in 4 categories. Engagements, Brides, Rings, & Weddings. I’ll be closing the voting on January 4th so keep everyone in your office/school/home coming back and voting till then. :) This is the last set of entries.

I LOVE capturing images of a bride and groom alone on their wedding day. Most of these came from their First Look. Take a look, vote, then have a Happy New Year!

If you take a look at the post before this one you’ll see what looked like a fun long wedding. :) Right after I finished Linsey and Cayde’s wedding I drove a few hours to Dallas and crashed at my friend Lane‘s apartment and after 4 hours of sleep I woke up and Lane and I headed to Ft. Worth to shoot this wedding. I could not have asked for a more laid back couple.

Sara was what you would call a “radiant” bride. she is all smiles, all giggles and all happiness.

I totally have a thing for harps at wedding. They are always so much fun. Anna did and AMAZING job so you have to get in touch with her if you are looking for one.   (Anna’s Website)

They had a small ceremony that was pretty much all family. It really was super intimate and wonderful.

After their “get-a-way” they met me behind the church for a 30 minute portrait session. We had a blast.

Thank you both for sharing your day with me. It was an honor to be there and I had a great time.
