This month’s rewind has two parts to it.  Part 1 is mucho mucho favorite images from last April.  Part 2 is one of my favorite things I have ever posted on my site.

Part 2:  Last year I asked one of my brides who broke off her engagement if she would be willing to share what that process was like and everything that it involved.  She was kind and brave enough to say yes.  It is still one of the most viewed pages on my website and  was the top Google result for broken engagement for a while last year.  Regardless of how great your engagement  or relationship is you should take the time to read what Kristin had to share.  (Read her story here.)

I love these rewind posts.  It’s amazing to me that these images happened a year ago.  Many of them are still fresh in my mind and I feel like I took them 3 months ago.

Happy 1 year to Lindsey & Justin, Mindy & Dustin, and Davi & Jonathan.

Brandy was a bit nervous as we started her session, but as the session went on, she relaed and found her groove.  I really like some of the images we got.  It’s funny because she booked me about 1.5 years out, so it feels like she’s been my client forever.  I can’t believe we finally got to do her bridal session and her wedding is just around the corner.

Brandy has the perfect smile/laugh combo.

I have been looking forward to Randall’s bridal session since way back in October when I did her super fun engagement session. She had mentioned that they might have their wedding at her uncle’s house and even though it was not finished then I kept hoping that’s what would happen because it looked like it was going to be amazing. Well, here we are 9 months later and everything has fallen into place. We did her session there and I can’t wait to get back there in a few months for the wedding.

I am totally digging the combination of this house and her dress.

So I typically don’t post “tradition” poses on the blog, but this one was too fun to pass up. I just love the colors and how relaxed and beautiful Randall looks in this shot.
