It was great to spend the day with Megan & Stephen as they started their marriage at the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, TX.  So much history there and it’s neat to view their story as a part of a larger continuing story.  Check out some of the artifacts.

Not a bad way to start off your First Look and marriage.

These two LOVE to play video games together.  There were all types of goodies to be found at the reception.  HUGE shout out to Silver Lining Events for putting this all together.

Toasts continue to be some of my favorite moments in a wedding day.  So many great things said about lifelong friends.
(It’s also great when your roommate asks you to hand over your princess key now that you are married and have a place of your own.)

You remember just how much these two loved their Camaros right?  Stephen’s friends made a few adjustments to their getaway car. :)

Thank you guys so much for sharing your day, and part of your story with me.  You were so so chill.  I hope your wedding will be a reflection of your marriage.  One that is full of much Bible, video games, cars, and wardrobe malfunctions. ;)

Casey’s wedding is only 2 days away but we still managed to squeeze in her super fun bridal session.  Instead of doing something “normal” she emailed me a few weeks ago and mentioned she had booked a private tour of The Ballpark in Arlington.  Um…. yes please. :)  Here are a few of my favorites.

I am not taking photos at a wedding this weekend.
I am not taking photos at a wedding this weekend.

This feels a bit strange.  This is my first weekend off since March 12th.  That makes 21 weddings in the past 16 weeks.  I’m not sure what I’ll do with my time off.  (Maybe edit?) :)

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to take a quick peek back at my favorite image from each wedding.  Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

Jennifer & Steven

Jennifer & Steven had an incredible wedding at Ashton Gardens in Dallas this past weekend.  The wedding was a blast.  The Mug Machine was in full force and they had a Rock the Frock day after session on Monday.
(Translation: Lots of images in the next few days.)

Ready… Set… Go!

I walked into the house where Jennifer was getting ready and found her grandfather getting his combover done by the stylist.  Best. First Image. Ever.?

Jennifer had all of these done by an artist she found on Etsy, visit her full site here.

Steven is sneaker head so he actually fly to New York and had these custom made for his wedding.  (The day they met & they day the were married.)

First Look time!

This was one of my favorite moments from the day.  We were grouping people for family photos and Steven’s niece ran up to get in a shot.  it was not their turn yet and someone said.  “No, not you, go back.”  She was crushed.  She was crying and tearing up as she headed back to her mom.  Jennifer saw this and walked out of the photo area and over to comfort her.  9.5 out of 10 brides would have just let others handle it, but she wanted to make sure her new niece was OK and assure her she was loved.  It totally made my day.  In fact…. it earned her a free 16×20 of any wedding image she wants.  That’s right Jennifer.  I’ll hook you up.  You’re that awesome!

Great great cakes were done by Fancy Cakes by Lauren.undefinedundefined

Rather than have their guest sign in, they finger printed people.  This made for both a super cool piece of art and official documentation of who really was at the wedding.

After the ceremony much dancing occurred.

I snagged this shot of Vanessa & Brent McKellar doing their video thing that they do so well.  I LOVE working with those two.

Stay tuned later this week for Mug Machine and Rock the Frock goodness.
