It would be impossible for me to love Leah and Jordan more.  They are super kind, chill, and way way too easy to photograph.  And for their location they decided on Great Raft Brewing in Shreveport.  What’s not to love?

These two met during their urology residency. (I think that’s how you say it.  I’m not book smart like these two.)

Jordan also dabbles in photography, and I indulged him by letting him talk about his camera and lenses.  I thought it would be poor form to bring up my extensive knowledge of urology so I kept that on the down low.
(Didn’t want to embarrass him in front of his lady.)

Jordan was so eager to tell me about how they met in school and hit it off right away.  And how after a couple of years, Leah invited him over for some fried deer steak.

The rest as they say… is beer.  Lots and lots of beer.

You’ll be seeing more of these two soon because later this month they are getting married at Lake Tyler Petroleum Club.  (Can’t wait!)

3 minutes into our 1st meeting Cristina & Jose became one of my favorite couples for 2011. I have been DYING to do their shoot and they did not disappoint. We headed over to Shreveport for their session and had more fun than should be allow while working. Enjoy a few of the photos then I’ll let you in on a secret about them at the end of the post.

They love to go down to The Boardwalk in Shreveport and shop.  Before we hit the shops though, I fell in love with the parking garage.  I could have shot there all day.

I’ve already had 19 people from Nike call saying they want to use them in their next campaign.

Jose proposed to her with her ring in a bowl of ice cream so that was a must for today.

Oh yeah, remember that secret I promised?  Here it is.  These two are already married.  They totally had a small family only ceremony in June of 2010.  They decided after that they still wanted to have a big party/reception this November.  How fun is that?  I asked Cristina if this was an excuse to get to buy 2 wedding dresses, have two anniversaries, and basically get more gifts from Jose each year;  she just smiled. :)  I also asked them if they were nervous about the session and their thoughts on how it went.  Here is what they had to say.
